Emily Schlicht, PT, DPT

Emily is a pediatric physical therapist specializing in treating infants and toddlers under 5 years old. She treats children who are having trouble meeting milestones and often finds herself answering questions like ‘do you think his head is too flat?’ or ‘she is 15 months, but still not walking, should I be worried?’.

She also treats children with rare diagnoses including neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder) and most neurological or genetic diagnoses using the Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) method.

She is a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS). As an Autism Specialist Emily can introduce sensory stimuli in a controlled manner to reduce frequency of sensory driven meltdowns.

Emily is also a Certified Schroth Therapist, skilled in treating tweens, teens and young adults who are looking to avoid surgery or recover from surgery for scoliosis or kyphosis.

During her free time Emily enjoys camping, skiing, knitting, and most importantly - watching bad reality TV.
